Soldering my first handmade circuit boards.  The white rectangles on the board in front are blue surface mount LEDs. These boards represent a first attempt at creating more "organic" looking circuit boards, in this case representing flowers.  The four outside LEDs represent petals, the center one the stamen of the bloom, and the two large pads are power/feeding points for hypothetical robotic insects. The blue flowers sprout with green stalks from the breadboard below. Closeup of stalks and roots. Closeup of flower. The illumination provides a lure to hypothetical robotic insects that land and feed from the exposed power terminals at the center of each bloom.
